ICC Logistics Operating the Israeli Depot The first CC Depot (depot for Container Centralen’s returnable transport items) was founded in Israel in early 2008 to simplify pot plants exports from Israel to Europe, mainly to cover Agrexco’s business needs. The depot is operated by ICC Logistics from Meichalei Zahav Group, which is a leading group of companies which have been dealing in packaging solutions and logistic services for more than 20 years. The group's main activities include development, production, marketing, and distribution of packing and packaging using paper, cardboard, plastic, foam, and aluminium. The main markets of the companies are the food, meat, and agricultural industries. The group represents some important European companies in Israel, and since 2008 also the pool operator Container Centralen. Tel: +972-8-9125010 Fax: +972-8-9292007 |

Container Centralen (CC)
The CC Pool System is without doubt the most widespread returnable transport item (RTI) pooling system within the European flower and pot plant industry. The success of the CC Pool System has led to its expansion into other industries, bringing its benefits to those other market segments. History CC started as a co-operation between Danish flower and pot plant exporters in 1976. Today there are 3.5 million CC Containers and 25 million CC Freshboxes, and many other CC RTIs in circulation in our pool system around the world. Today we have almost 3.5 million CC Containers in circulation around the world in our unique CC Pool System. But we don’t rest on our laurels; we are continually developing new systems that, quite simply, optimise your logistics. Our customer base has expanded over the years, and in addition to the horticultural industry, we are also pleased to be able to serve customers within the retail industry, including several of the largest supermarket chains in Europe. CC was established in Denmark in 1976 as a result of a co-operation between Danish flower and pot plant exporters, in response to the problems that plagued the horticultural industry at that time. It was a time where distribution costs could easily account for around 30% of the product price. This situation was obviously unacceptable, and therefore the flower exporters had a flower & pot plant trolley developed - later known as the CC Container. After open tender, the flower exporters appointed CC to market and operate an open pool of trolleys together with a supporting repair and maintenance service – the result is the cost saving success, the CC Pool System, in which everyone can take part today. In 1980 the first Dutch customers - exporters and auctions - joined the CC Pool System, and in 1989 VGB - the Dutch union of flower wholesalers - acquired part of CC, and CC became a limited company. Today CC is 50% owned by the Danish flower exporters, and 50% by VGB. What CC do We are constantly striving for excellence. This strong desire sets us apart from our competitors, and constantly drives us to improve our systems and thus retain our leading position within the industry. This passion is embedded in our three core values. CC at a glance CC is 50% owned by Danish flower exporters. The other 50% is owned by VGB - the Dutch Union of Flower Wholesalers. CC is serving more than 23,000 customers in more than 40 countries worldwide, and about 80,000 users (our customers and their business partners) benefit from using the CC System every day.
